Functional movement is an important part of a healthy life . . . . .

Young children know how to do Functional Movement – they do it naturally.

Just watch a young child pick something up.  They don’t bend over – they squat down to pick it up.

So why is Functional Movement important for adults?

A Deadlift is an Olympic Weighlifting movement – but it is also the way that you should pick up a heavy box or pot plant to move it.

A Thruster is an Olympic Weighlifting movement – but it is also the way that you should pick up an item to put on an overhead shelf.

You can injure yourself doing a Deadlift the wrong way . . . Just the same as you can injure yourself lifting a box or pot plant the wrong way.

So, it can have a big impact on your daily life!
